Our Professionals

Bring your experience to a clearly defined clinical role.

Explore how physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and registered nurses can contribute to aesthetic practices. Start with your qualifications, clinical interests and availability.

Roles depend on licensure, demonstrated competence, practice arrangements and actual engagement needs. An inquiry does not guarantee an opening or engagement.

Find your pathway

Different licenses. Defined responsibilities.

Clinical work is assigned to the individual and the practice setting. Each pathway below begins a conversation about fit; it does not authorize a procedure or expand anyone’s scope.

01 / PHYSICIANS

Physicians & Medical Directors

Discuss medical direction within an active Illinois license to practice medicine in all its branches and your clinical competence: assessment, treatment plans, permitted delegation, consultation and review.

Define responsibilities, coverage and response to complications. A director title does not permit lending a license or delegating physician-only work. Procedure-specific requirements determine when a physician must be on site.

02 / NURSE PRACTITIONERS

Nurse Practitioners

Discuss good faith exams within participating-practice care, clinical assessment, follow-up and review work that fits your education, certification and practice authority. Training contributions depend on relevant experience.

An Illinois APRN with full practice authority may practice without a written collaborative agreement within national certification and statutory authority. Other outpatient APRNs generally need the required collaboration. Physician-only services and operative surgery are not authorized by full practice authority; verify individual license or permit status and treatment-specific rules.

03 / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS

Physician Assistants

Discuss evaluations, good faith exams within participating-practice care, follow-up and treatment-related review within your training and authorized services.

In an ordinary outpatient med spa, a PA generally needs a written collaborative agreement describing authorized services, physician communication and procedures requiring physician presence. Prescribing depends on the applicable delegated authority. Institutional exceptions are specific and should not be assumed for a freestanding spa.

04 / REGISTERED NURSES

Registered Nurses

Discuss nursing care, delegated aesthetic treatments and clinical skills development. Experienced nurses may also discuss training support and nursing documentation review within their competence.

Confirm appropriate orders or delegation, treatment-specific competence and the required clinical availability. Nursing assessment is distinct from medical diagnosis and prescribing. An RN license does not independently authorize those medical functions, and a course certificate does not expand nursing scope.

Related roles

Keep cosmetic and administrative work in scope.

Esthetics professionals

Illinois esthetics licensure covers specified superficial cosmetic care, including qualifying superficial dermaplaning and hydrodermabrasion. It does not authorize medical diagnosis, injections or procedures intended to affect living skin layers. Any lawfully delegated medical work is a different role with its own requirements.

Practice management teams

Administrative and operational support does not grant authority to diagnose, prescribe, delegate medical work or direct clinical judgment. Review the professional entity and management arrangement alongside the clinical plan.

The work behind oversight

Clinical participation with a practical purpose.

The engagement determines which activities apply and who is qualified to perform them.

Exams & clinical review

Qualified clinicians may discuss evaluations, chart review and follow-up for participating practices. Exams remain connected to ongoing clinical oversight and documentation in our proprietary EMR. Clinical assessment, prescribing and nursing review have different authority and responsibilities; the phrase good-faith exam does not make them interchangeable.

Site visits & team support

Discuss on-site participation, communication with the treating team and escalation of clinical concerns. Availability and travel expectations are agreed for each role.

Training & skills

Discuss hands-on training or competency review within your expertise. Training supports demonstrated skill; it does not replace licensure or authorize work outside scope.

How the conversation works

From your experience to a defined role.

  1. Introduce yourself

Share your license type, relevant experience, location and clinical interests.

  2. Discuss availability

Talk through remote and on-site interests, scheduling and the work you can support.

  3. Review fit

Review credentials, competence, scope and practice needs before considering an engagement.

  4. Define responsibilities

If there is a fit, document duties, supervision or collaboration, compensation and onboarding before work begins.

Before you inquire

A clear starting point.

Bring questions about the role and the support it requires.

Are these current job openings?

This page describes professional pathways, not a list of open positions. Available engagements, terms and compensation are discussed individually. No volume of work or income is promised.

Do you provide standalone exams to outside organizations?

No. Good-faith exams are provided within established participating-practice relationships, with continuity of clinical care and documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system.

Can every provider perform good faith exams?

No. Responsibilities depend on the clinician’s license, qualifications and applicable practice arrangements. The RN pathway here concerns nursing and delegated care, not an independent medical evaluation role.

Can I participate remotely?

Tell us your location and proposed activity. Illinois telehealth remains within professional scope and the applicable in-person standard of care. Device and other procedure-specific rules may require on-site participation.

What should I include in my inquiry?

Your professional role, relevant experience, general location and availability are enough to start. Please do not include patient information or sensitive credential documents in the initial message.
